Texas Says "No" to Rabies Medical Exemption
Texas veterinarians have no discretion in assessing the risk versus benefit of administering rabies vaccine and no allowance to postpone or waive a rabies re-vaccination for any reason. All dogs and cats, including service dogs and therapy dogs, must be vaccinated according to the law regardless of age, health status or potential risk.
